Rabeena Mussalin

Rabeena began her legal career articling at a prominent plaintiff firm, where she gained firsthand insight into plaintiff-side litigation strategies. She then transitioned to a respected Toronto defence boutique known for its trial work, where she honed her litigation skills and developed a reputation as a tenacious and meticulous advocate. In February 2021, she joined Jones Kopp Litigation Partners LLP, bringing with her extensive experience in insurance defence litigation and complex coverage disputes.

Throughout her career, Rabeena has successfully handled a wide array of CGL claims, including those involving construction and farm equipment, property damage, product liability, subrogation of property loss, and occupiers’ liability. She has appeared at all stages of litigation, including motions, mediations, pre-trials, trials, cost hearings, and assessments, and has experience preparing materials for the Ontario Court of Appeal. Her ability to navigate intricate legal issues, combined with her strategic thinking and courtroom presence, makes her a trusted advisor to her clients.
