About Lauren Scott​

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and a Law Clerk Diploma (Honours) from Humber College. While pursuing her Law Clerk Diploma, she demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence and mentorship, working as a tutor to fellow Law Clerk students, helping them grasp complex legal concepts and refine their practical skills.

Lauren began her career as a law clerk in 2014 and has since accumulated extensive experience in diverse areas of litigation. She has worked alongside lawyers at all levels of seniority, assisting in personal injury, subrogation, occupier’s liability, commercial liability, priority disputes, and medical malpractice—representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Her work has contributed to cases that have garnered national and international media attention, underscoring her involvement in high-profile legal matters.

Dedicated to professional growth, Lauren continually expands her expertise. Most recently, she has developed a specialization in defence accident benefits claims and preparing matters for Hearings before the Tribunal, ensuring meticulous case preparation and strategic advocacy. Her ability to navigate complex legal frameworks, coupled with her attention to detail, makes her a valuable asset in high-stakes litigation.
Beyond her professional commitments, Lauren is passionate about continuous learning and professional development, consistently staying informed on emerging legal trends and best practices. She takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of legal support, contributing to the efficiency and success of the legal teams she works with.

Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys exploring new destinations both locally and internationally with her family and friends, embracing new cultures and experiences.
