Amanda Jones
Associate
Amanda graduated from the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy with a Canadian J.D. and an American J.D. in 2022 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023. She completed her B.A. in criminology and sociology at Western University in 2018 and her Gr. Dip in journalism from Concordia University in 2019.
Prior to joining Jones Kopp Litigation Partners LLP, Amanda worked at a prominent insurance defense firm, where she worked on Accident Benefits and tort matters.
While attending law school, Amanda completed clinic work at Legal Assistance of Windsor and the Criminal Trial Clinic. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the law school’s newspaper. She received the oral advocacy book award and excelled in moot court competitions. She was a top oral speaker in the G Mennen Moot Court Competition and a finalist in the Tort Law Moot.
While not in the office, Amanda enjoys water-skiing, running and spending time with her two dogs.
