Alysha obtained her B.A. from the University of Waterloo in 2007 and her LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick in 2011. She was called to the Bar in 2012 and practiced in Hamilton for 6 years, focusing on insurance defence litigation including CGL, auto, and property. She is well versed in both tort and accident benefits matters, including loss transfer and priority, as well coverage issues. She worked in-house at a top 3 insurer, gaining additional experience with complex matters including CAT and major loss files. Alysha has appeared before numerous levels of court, various tribunals, and at private arbitrations. She joined Jones Kopp Litigation Partners in September 2021.
