Amanda Jones

Amanda earned dual J.D. degrees from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy in 2022 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023. She previously completed her B.A. in Criminology and Sociology at Western University in 2018 and a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Concordia University in 2019.

Before joining Jones Kopp Litigation Partners LLP, Amanda gained valuable experience at a prominent insurance defence firm, focusing on Accident Benefits and tort matters.

During her time in law school, Amanda demonstrated a strong commitment to advocacy and academic excellence. She participated in clinic work with Legal Assistance of Windsor and the Criminal Trial Clinic, served as Editor-in-Chief of the law school’s newspaper, and received recognition for her oral advocacy skills, including the Oral Advocacy Book Award. Amanda excelled in moot court competitions, earning the distinction of Top Oral Speaker in the G. Mennen Moot Court Competition and reaching the finals in the Tort Law Moot.

Outside the office, Amanda enjoys water-skiing, running, and spending time with her two dogs.
