Joseph Tumini

Joseph specializes in civil litigation and insurance defence, with a strong focus on tort law, including personal injury, property damage, priority disputes between insurers, and accident benefits claims.

Since joining Jones Kopp Litigation Partners LLP in 2023, Joseph has continued to build on his extensive experience in insurance defence, which he honed at prominent law firms in Toronto. He has represented clients before the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, Small Claims Court, License Appeal Tribunal, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunals, showcasing his versatility and depth in handling complex legal matters.

Joseph earned his B.A. from Brock University in 2006 and completed his LL.B. at the University of London in 2016. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019. Known for his client-centric approach, Joseph is committed to delivering efficient and high-quality legal solutions, ensuring swift and effective resolution of disputes.

Outside of his legal practice, Joseph enjoys skiing and spending quality time with his family, reflecting his dedication to balance and personal well-being.
