She has successfully defended clients in high-stakes, multi-party, and high-value cases, including complex brain injury claims, fatality matters, and a broad range of personal injury cases from inception to trial. Renée’s depth of experience includes working alongside leading experts on issues of standard of care, causation, and damages, as well as negotiating intricate settlements. She has served as counsel in lengthy and complex trials before both judge and jury and has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario.
Renée’s clients include a diverse array of health organizations and professionals. She has represented long-term care facilities, care agencies, counselling services, fertility clinics, retirement residences, and a wide range of regulated professionals such as dental hygienists, dentists, geneticists, naturopaths, nurses, optometrists, paramedics, pharmacists, physiotherapists, psychiatrists, and social workers.
